Mission
The Georgia Board of Officials is an Affiliated Board of PAVO to carry out its mission in the state of Georgia. The Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO) is dedicated to improving the quality of volleyball officiating for all rules codes and skill levels. PAVO strives to increase the number of competent officials through education, training, and mentoring and promotes involvement in the governing bodies of other volleyball officiating groups.

News and Updates
The GBO Annual Membership Meeting will be held immediately following our referee clinic hosted this year by the Alabama Board of Officials on Saturday, July 18th in Birmingham, AL. More details soon. This is the year we elect officers (President and Treasurer). Nominations are open; contact Bob Watson if interested or if you have a nomination.
If you haven't been rated as a referee recently click on the link and send in your request. Non-national referees must be rated every two years. If you have questions contact Tom Hobbs.

The Southern Region Volleyball Association is a non-profit organization affiliated with USAV, the national governing body for amateur volleyball. The primary objective of the SRVA is to furnish an opportunity for volleyball players to participate in an organized schedule of tournament play.
USA Volleyball is a non-profit organization which is recognized as the national governing body of volleyball in the United States by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball and the United States Olympic Committee.
The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) is an organization that governs athletics and activities for member high schools in Georgia, USA. GHSA is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations.
